Hungry Heart: Wild Striker Season 2 - A Huge Improvement Over Its Predecessor

The second season of Hungry Heart: Wild Striker has finally arrived, and fans of the series are in for a treat. While Season 1 was enjoyable, it had its fair share of issues that prevented it from reaching its full potential. However, Season 2 is a different story altogether. This time around, the story revolves around high school powerhouse Kaido, and Goro's interactions with them.

One of the biggest improvements in Season 2 is the plot itself. Gone are the days of a boy wanting his team to become the best; instead, we have a more complex and innovative storyline that explores the world of high school baseball. The fact that the characters are now in high school rather than being a bunch of little shrimps makes it much easier to immerse ourselves in their story.

The games themselves also seem less ridiculous this time around. There's no silly parent/kid drama like we saw in Season 1, and instead, all the subplots revolve around baseball. The show gets right into the action from the start, with baseball games taking center stage. In fact, Major Season 2 fixes just about everything that was wrong with Season 1.

While the first half of the season didn't have as many baseball games as fans might have liked, it did introduce some romance subplots that were tough to care too much about. However, these issues are quickly forgotten once the baseball action picks up. Overall, I have almost no doubt in my mind that anyone who watched all of Major Season 1 will watch Major Season 2, whether I say it's great or terrible.
